BoR Planar Array Antenna

Planar array antenna for multifunction EW is a state-of-the-art technology for realizing ESM and ECM functions from common aperture. Body of Revolution Vivaldi antenna is an innovative design to meet this requirement. It is basically a three dimensional Vivaldi antenna with air dielectric. It has rotational symmetry in both the planes and hence gives almost similar beam width in both the principal planes and does not require any additional matching circuit behind the array. The antenna structure is made of complete metal without array dielectric material and realized using CNC machining techniques. BoR antenna is most favourable element for planar array due to ease of assembly and disassembly of the array element and connectors.
