2 chip T/R Module using Core chip, T-R Chip

5-18 GHz Transmit/Receive (TR) Module is the key component for the active phased array for Electronic Warfare applications. To design miniaturized, compact, lightweight TR Module, two-chip solution (Core Chip & TR chip) has been adopted. This drastically reduces number of MMICs, wire bonds and interconnections. GaAs Core Chip consists of integration of Digital Phase Shifter, Digital Attenuator, Switches, Amplifiers along with SIPO (Serial-In Parallel-Out) and regulated power supply required for all the RF functions. GaN TR chip consists of Power Amplifier, LNA and high-Power Switch.
